Aston Martin DB5 Coupe

Released in 1963, it was an evolution of the final series of DB4. The DB series was named honouring David Brown (the head of Aston Martin from 1947–1972). The DB5 is famous for being the first and most recognised cinematic James Bond car, first appearing in Goldfinger (1964).

MY DREAM CAR

I saw one of these beautiful cars driving up the M1 on Bank Holiday Monday and it looked so utterly breathtaking I had to add it here.

I've never owned one, nor have I ever driven one. It is on my list of things to do before I die.

I did do a bit of research before writing this and found one up for auction in America (Gooding and Company), the estimate was 350-450 thousand dollars.
