SPEND A FREE AFTERNOON IN PARIS

I never get tired of walking the length of the Champs Elysee from the Arc to the Place de la Concorde. In between the two is the Petit Palais, often over shadowed by the Louvre and the Musee D'Orsay but somewhere full of calm and beauty everyone should visit. The Grand Palais is just opposite, another fabulous building.

The permanent collections house too many of the grand masters to name and for impressionist lovers like me you'll find works by Cezanne, Monet, Manet and Toulouse-Lautrec. Entrance is free to the permanent exhibitions.
