Alex Monroe Jewellery

I am always inspired by nature, a definite nature lover so not surprising I love the work of Alex Monroe.

I got a pair of earrings a few years ago as a present and since then have added a few different bits to my jewellery box. I love it that Alex has translated his genuine love and curiosity for bugs and stuff into simple tasteful jewellery designs full of humour and whimsy and all his pieces are made by hand in England.

On the one hand he uses the finest 14 Karat gold vermeil and then plates to keep his pieces more affordable. A pair of small stud earrings cost from £100 up.

Some pieces have “ethically sourced” diamond chips in which of course makes the piece more expensive.

My only one issue is the earring backs are very small, and can slip through so I have upgraded mine to something a bit bigger - only because I don’t want to lose my beautiful earrings.

Lovely company, excellent customer service, super shop I always make a point of visiting whenever I’m in Covent Garden. No surprise his loyal customers have grown to include some of Hollywoods elite. I feel like I am in good company, Emilia Clarke, Katherine Ryan, Thandie Newton and the Princess of Wales are all fans too.
