Yeomans Green Grocer Primrose Hill

I have not eaten meat for about 10 years and been working on a Plant based diet for about 5 years. I live in a rural area which means the selection of specialty food shops is extremely limited. When I go to London one of the things I really enjoy is all the more healthy independent businesses.

So everyone knows about Joe The Juice (if you haven’t they are a juice and smoothie chain with a Pink logo, Nick Kyrgios the Australian tennis star has his own Strawberry protein shake with Grubhub “The Big Smash” there) but it’s somewhere where incidently I have always had to queue, which is why I go out of my way to visit Yeomans whenever I get the opportunity……… just for their divine juices and smoothies.

I have actually tried everyone on the list but have now settled on my absolute favourite “The Caribbean”

A smoothie made with Mint, pineapple, apple and melon.

I think the key to the smoothies being so fabulous is 1. Even the small size at £5 is still quite a generous portion and when money is tighter at the end of the month this is what I go for. 2. All the ingredients are of the highest quality and always very fresh. 3. Their bunch flowers are lovely ( although the flower arrangements and ready made bouquets are not my style and taste) 4. The industrial size fruit and veg crusher they use which means service is quick and all the drinks are made fresh to Order. 5. Unlike a lot of places they don’t pad out with water or fruit juice just all fresh fruit.

6. Not always friendly so buyer beware and don’t take it personally.
