1ST RATE MULTI LAYERED ACTION THRILLER
I've seen this movie a few times before, I really like it so when I saw it was on 4 tonight I thought I'd tolerate the commercials.
The set up is Elizabeth Parsons played by Ashley Judd gets framed by her husband for his murder and goes down for 6 years. Whilst in prison she gets a sniff of whats going on and the chase ensues upon her release to find Nick, the husband.
Along the way Tommy Lee Jones is the superindendent at the half way house she is assigned to whose job it is to keep Judd on a straight path. He is really good playing an ex law professor who made one mistake and lost everything, now anyone break his rules they going back to jail. He's got a close eye on Parsons, he thinks she's trouble.
As she breaks way from her chaperone Tommy Lee Jones goes in hot pursuit.
As the story unfolds there are a few unexpected twists, a few more people end up dead and there is some well shot great action. The back story, the lengths a mother will go to for her child. Excellent action thriller that you can watch over and over and still very much enjoy.
