I’ve bought a handful of pieces from this great little shop, in
leicester. It’s a recycled up cycled furniture shop, where you honestly never know what you might find.
A gem of a little shop on the Hinckley Road in Leicester you’d probably never know about unless someone told you.
You know that feeling when you go in someone’s house and you are visually stimulated and it feels compulsive, you have to explore, it’s new (or old) fresh exciting interesting well that’s the feeling you get at Bazaar mart.
It’s warm it’s friendly it’s eclectic it’s community don’t be surprised if you pop in for a small occasional table and find yourself engaged in lively debate, listening to a local poet recite or hear an artist strum an acoustic guitar on an old leather chesterfield, both of which are for sale.
This is how local shops used to be happy and vibrant. Makes you want to play, makes you want to shop.I try to keep what I am there for in mind so I don’t come home with a load of things I love but have no use for.
Can’t remember the names of the husband and wife team that run the gaff but have always remembered me and always gone the extra mile with delivery and good service. 5 star business.
