I LOVE THIS FILM!
When Jimmy the Gent, a South End on Sea mob boss, used to having his own way gets ripped off for a million quid, he discovers some serious criminals on his patch are out to get him. Great characters that are credible and the script is engaging. It is clever how the criminals are named after hard boiled sweets like the sherbet lemon and the glacier mint, so it gives the movie some humour and character. The film has a slick style and was shot entirely on a Canon 5DmkII. It looks fantastic. A wonderful British film.
This is a gritty British noir crime thriller that had me gripped and entertained right to the end, and what an end, one of the very best twists I've ever seen. It left me wanting to watch it again and again. I loved this one very much.
