For about 10 days now I have been having a discussion with customer service at Lloyds bank via their bot what’s app sort of customer service “service” they call 24:7 help.
Except getting the help is not always as easy as say picking up the phone and talking to someone, getting the issue sorted and it not happening again.
I know Lloyds are not the only company to use this sort of communication which is cost effective for them and entirely frustrating to the customer.
I did a balance transfer onto a Lloyds Bank credit card for an attractive rate and have absolutely no complaints regarding that except, I’ve had a few issues, not my fault, where the internal system has bounced me back to a high interest rate automatically and I have fought to get the reduced interest rate, paid for at the outset, in my case about 300 quid reinstated.
The issue for the me, the only way I can speak to Lloyds is through the bot and today, in the middle of a conversation that has been ongoing for a few days now; (you say your bit and then have to wait for someone to respond, but you don’t know when they respond so you either have to keep logging in and checking to see or you just wait and have these long drawn out conversations with a load of different people,) the bloody bot won’t load at all.
“Server cannot connect to network, please retry”
