Are a Ukrainian fashion brand whose big claim to fame was clothing for an expedition to the Antarctic.

We are proud to announce the collaboration with the National Antarctic Scientific Center of Ukraine and present the new modern outwear uniform for the team members of the Vernadsky Research Base – Antarctic Expedition Parka.

Forget about Canada Goose and Moncler the aspirational parka, padded jacket companies.

I saw the Dunlope jacket from Ienki Ienki in a clearance sale, marked down from £1800 to £200. I had never heard of the brand but the quality was very apparent. Something I’d have expected to pay at least £500 for.

It wasn’t until after I bought it I saw super model Irina Shayek wearing my exact jacket out and about in NYC.

The jacket, I call the oven because if it’s warmth potential, on the coldest of UK days I can wear this jacket with only a light T shirt underneath and still be toasty. And talk about the jacket everyone notices, it’s a rare day I wear it and someone doesn’t compliment it or ask me about it. People are very curious when you have something different they don’t know about or recognise.

The downside of these jackets of course the price, who can afford more than £1000 for their winter jacket?

That said, because the brand is not so well known I have managed to find a couple online secondhand. Not as good a deal as my first Ienki Ienki jacket but a lot less than retail.
