So, I wrote the above at the beginning of my investment journey, full of hope and excitement but today I am making amendments to my review because I have gained more knowledge about Venture capital. The reality is, the investment path is fraught with danger! You’ve stumbled upon the VC service providers, the merchants of the investment jungle, who offer you shiny baubles of advice and preparation in exchange for your hard-earned coins. They promise to make you VC-ready, to polish your pitch until it gleams like the Holy Grail. Yet, like a siren’s call, their allure can be misleading. They don't even reply when you pour out your soul and pitch with all you have which to me as a seasoned business woman, not a junior, rings the alarm bell of a little bit rude.

The reality is that these VC service providers are indeed more about making a buck off the dreams of entrepreneurs, than actually helping you snatch the elusive investment treasure. They are the middlemen, the matchmakers, the tour guides who charge you for a map to the temple when the true path is one of innovation, perseverance, and a touch of madness!

These platforms are a great idea and if you pay, they help you present your idea but in truth is, there are very few investors and many ideas, so once you are pitch perfect get out and about to find the big fish yourself.
