The Local Yolk

The Jalapeno hash has had people talking for over 20 years

When you've had something on the menu for over 25 years you know it's working. My folks had a walk st beach cottage when I was a kid so I've been frequenting the local eateries for years. The local yolk is probably my favourite breakfast brunch joint closely followed by Uncle Bills.

I always order the same thing, eggs over easy, the jalapeno hash, like they say you cannot get it anywhere else so whenever in Manhattan these days I stop by.

Firm family favourite. It’s just down from Sloopys on Highland between Marine and Sepulveda. Light bright and quick.

We go for the food but you never know who might be in there, we’ve had a few celebrity sightings, Tiger Woods, I have been quite a bit over the years and it’s not surprising really, lots a celebrities have homes at the beach and they would gravitate to the best food.
