Holland and Barrett

My store in Maddox St, W1

There are only a few big chain stores left in the high st that give you those small shop feels, personal service, staff that remember you (not always but more than anywhere else) my neighbour has also mentioned the friendly staff.

I used to be able to buy simple things like banana chips, pomegranate juice, almond flour everywhere, now Holland and Barrett is my go to as the offering in Waitrose and Marks and Spencer seems to get less and less and focused more on prepared food and ready meals.

I am not a vitamin or supplement person particularly they might work for some people but I get my vitamins and minerals from food as the body can only use a small amount and cannot store anything additional making vitamin pills a waste of money to my mind.

I you want to give supplements a go they do have a lot of offers, buy 3 get 1 free type of thing and the staff can get a bit over zealous when you only want one bag of apricots not 4 but aside from that I love popping in to H & B

And for anyone struggling with menopause symptoms my Mum told me they have trained specialist staff on the subject and are giving free advise on how to manage symptoms naturally.
