Luxury body oil for a gold shimmering glow

There is something quite wonderful about buying Chanel products, especially the make up and beauty selection but recently I have to say, I have been disappointed.

I often buy Chanel make up and used to be an avid fan of Chanel No5 perfume, so buying the new gold shimmering body oil made sense. It is not a cheap purchase, almost £100 but I was sure it would be worth every penny. The bottle is big and the fragrance of No 5 quite lasting but the gold shimmering effect of the oil did not live up to expectations sadly. It did not create a true gold glow like cheaper body oils I have tried. I ended up putting the oil in my bath water which was much better in terms of my body feeling like it was soft and perfumed but the gold shimmer effect did not work. I do not think it is worth the money if you are looking for a truly shimmering effect. On the other hand the Chanel No 5 body cream is superb, long lasting smell and feels like total luxury on your body.
