Puerto Banus Market (Nueva Andalucia)

LOVELY STREET MARKET

We just got back from a short break on the Costa Del Sol and one of the highlights was visiting this lovely Saturday morning market, the largest in the region.

This was my first visit and I was surprised by the variety of goods, something for everyone, and the great prices, stylish flats for only 10 euros and brightly printed large scarves/wraps for 5 euros.

This market is clearly not just for tourists as the flowers were amazing and very reasonable and there were also an array of local artisans and artists selling their work, some of which was exquisite.

Attached to the market are a series of indoor shops and cafes, all very chic and quite stylish and great to take a break from browsing the many stalls.

We found some good quality linens and the men's shirts were hand made and really quite beautiful.

If you are looking for designer names on a budget there are plenty to pick from, some more obvious copies than others and some really fantastic sunglasses that even an expert would be challenged to spot the fake.

We had a wonderful morning browsing the market, it took us a good 3 hours to meander round the whole thing. Well worth a visit if you like a bargain and I would definitely return.
