Many Lives Many Masters

As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from “the space between lives,” which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss’s family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.

A graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School, Brian L. Weiss M.D. is Chairman Emeritus of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami.

Dr. Weiss conducts national and international seminars and experiential workshops as well as training programs for professionals.

READ IT AND THEN DECIDE FOR YOURSELF

This book changed the way I thought about so many things. I was gripped and couldn’t put it down. My brother loaned it to me at a time in my life when I was going through a lot of change, my marriage had ended, amicably but it was still tough. It is in effect a series of discoveries that an eminent clinical US psychiatrist tripped over whilst helping a young patient, suffering from anxiety and severe panic attacks, using hypnotherapy. The story is unbelievable, truly unbelievable and yet I believe it.

Although the clinical notes defy our logic or comprehension, the book is laid out in such a way and Dr. Weiss shares some brutal personal truth to validate his findings. Sure, he could be making it all up, but why, for a single sensational bestseller. In many ways he risked everything by telling his story.

And I believe the author’s reason to go against the whole medical profession and publish, which did cast him out as a lunatic by many of his professional colleagues, all because he experienced something so radical, and for him, supported by clearly documented research and facts. His story is absolutely fascinating.

The experience has changed his life and mine. The book is so powerful it has been read by 1.5 million people.

I picked this book up recently after reading it a few years ago now. It was as epic the 2nd time around and I could never forget the massive impact it has made on me and my thinking about life, the universe and my role within it.
