17 October 2024 Margaret Clayton 10 Brands, Clothes, Accessories Isabel Marant Brand & Denji Hat ♥️ When I think of fashion designer Isabel Marant I think of long summers spent on the Normandy coast, beautiful linen dresses, flat sandals, cosy warm wrap coats, espadrilles, stripy T shirts and bikinis, super stylish and under branded but yes sadly seriously expensive.The equivalent in the UK might be Bamford, although I’d say more conservative for although Isabel Marant would always be my go to for a plain white summer dress, or anything cotton and lacy the design house also can catapult you off centre and into something more edgy, black leather maybe or some stud detail.I just purchased the Denji hat, wool and alpaca, in a size 58 (my head is quite big, I struggle to get hats to fit) but this one fit me perfectly so I purchased.They are £245 in Harrods where I did try it on. I wasn’t 100% sure so decided to think about it, then found the exact same hat online for £180. (Sorry Harrods, I do try not to do this, enjoying the browsing in store and then saving online does make me cringe a bit. Guilty)I love my new hat though. The bucket style, easy to style up but perfect once again for autumn strolls on the beach catching the very last of the late sunshine.The main reason I like Isabel Marant brand so much, they are one of the few that have kept standards of quality really high, the focus is more on the garment, the textiles and craftsmanship than the branding.Thanks Isabel Marant.Love my hat.
