Dialect Perfume

Dupe fragrance

I am a mad perfume lover and have pretty much tried every expensive perfume going. I would class myself as an expert when it comes to what is needed to make an expressive fragrance worth the money. I gave up wearing Chanel No 5 years ago when they appeared to change the strength of the scent, it just didn't last for the money.

When I saw dialect advertised on Instagram and tik-tok by pretty much every influencer I thought it had to be too good to be true. A cheaper dupe fragrance that would smell and last as long as my favourite brand? The reviews sounded mixed, so I decided to invest myself and give my own verdict. I ordered two different scents, both with strong oud tones like Tom Ford and Aventis and eagerly waited for the box to arrive in the post. Both cost around £35 each with postage.

The perfume arrived quick and was well packaged. The bottles are very plain and simple. I love oud for one main reason, it lasts for days but both these scents although strong to begin with and quite pleasant, did not last, so I was disappointed sadly. I decided to keep them because they did work mixed with my Aventis and Tom Ford which was a plus but to be honest I would not go back for more.
