After seeing all the violence and the behaviour of fans, especically the England fans, shouting racist taunts on mass and abusing romany gyspy children in the street in France, (source Channel 4 News) isn't it time FIFA did something to get this under control.

Perhaps if fans who cannot behave themselves were "sent off" home and banned from stadiums they would think twice before carrying on in such a way.

Rise in domestic abuse has long been documented to parallel the timing with large football events. When are we going to stop tolerating this masoginistic, racist, violent behaviour fuelled by alcohol all in the name of "Sport", "The Joy Of The Game" and money?
