Stylish and Cute For Lunch

Where do you go in Leicester for a quick stylish bite. Delicious food accompanied by bougie cocktails, champagne, non alcoholic spirits no one else serves and my favourite fever tree mixers all served with a smile by friendly staff who actually remember you and overseen by Maitre D’ Ellis, there to ensure everything runs smoothly.

My pet hate in restaurants in being stingy with the ice, here you get chilled tap water without asking for it and tumblers with plenty of ice and lemon. They do include a discretionary service charge on the bill but I don’t mind because the service and these little extra touches make it worth it for me.

I love the menu, as a veggie there aren’t many places and certainly not in Leicester if you don’t want Indian where you can find vegan Caesar salad, courgette tempura, sauted Kale confit potatoes olives aubigine babaganosh all cooked to perfection Tapas style and everything comes to the table beautifully garnished with edible flowers making the visit Instagram worthy if that’s your thing.

Very sad head chef Thomas has just left to join the team at the Cow and Plough (not sure where that is) but he’s a very good cook but definitely give Cafe Clo a go, nothing like it for some miles around.
