Wish I lived closer to Nottingham

I met Mumtaz when she first opened her beautiful yoga studio in the A1 Studio space in Nottingham.

She’s a gentle soul, quiet and considered but wait, watch her in her element bend, stretch and almost contort her body into mind blowing positions and you’ll recognise just how strong focused and dedicated to her practise she is.

I only got to experience her flow once, I don’t live in Nottingham.

For any passionate yogis, or if you are just a beginner, I’m somewhere in the middle you’d take a great deal from Mumtaz’s teaching style.

I’ve tried a few different types of practise from Hatha to Bikram to breath practise the pranayama and I still remember Mumtaz’s gentle encouragement pushing her students to go further than they might have imagined.

A1 space is a bright light open space. Modern and clean with a coffee shop and neat little store. What makes it extra special is the teacher.
