It’s a genius business

I don’t drink coffee. And I cannot pay £3.50 for a tea bag and hot water.

I stopped on the M1 and I paid £2.70 for a pain au chocolate, £3.50 for a slice of lemon cake and £1.50 for a banana.

I know I don’t have to shop with Starbucks but sometimes there’s just no other option.

I just wish they paid tax in the UK and not Repuplic of Ireland.

Correction Last year they paid 7.2 million corporation tax on a gross profit of £149 million, source The Guardian.

FYI if you can stump up almost four quid for their toffee, maple syrup, pecan muffin, new in for the festive season, it was absolutely indulgent satisfying down in one treat.

If I’d seen the price before she told me I’d have probably thought twice.
