In fact this hotel is set in a park on a council estate but you would never know.

The moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with a rather stark, simple, clean reception area but don't be put off, once in the bar or restaurant it gets much cosier.

The terraces at Winstanley House are great in the summer for outside seating and drinks. Its probably the only somewhat stylish hotel in Leicester and I have to say, every time I have been for Sunday lunch or dinner it has been a very good experience.
