I’ve been back a few times and tried a few different options. They do plant based but I’d say it’s more Korean Barbeque.

There aren’t many places that offer a plant based base bowl and it should be good but everytime I’ve tried them not sure why but it just doesn’t hit the mark for me.

They do focus a lot of energy of the barbecue meats, the chicken and beef which is possibly what is appealing to most of the customers.

I don’t know if it’s the lack of flavour in the guacamole, the Asian pickle and vinegary flavours or the hoky chocolate cacao they have added for “extra health benefits”

It just didn’t come together for me. I tried their version of a green tea fruit smoothie and unfortunately I cannot rave about that either.

Is grounded kitchen healthy? I think it’s fundamentally a meat place.

For me because Grounded Kitchen is Halal it’s not “cruelty free” something I prefer to support if I can.
