Johnny Green

Brunch Spot St John’s Wood London

A relatively new addition in SJW but for me a little under whelming.

I’ve eaten here a couple of times, an interesting Australian chain for me not 100% sure what they are trying to be.

We sat by the open kitchen which was noisy and quite untidy as I remember. The menu I cannot really remember, I know I ordered the vegan chicken buffalo wings with vegan (blue cheese) dressing and they were alright but I haven’t been back since.

I did walk past a few months ago, happened to be desperate for the loo and popped in the request a favour, the use of the bathroom was denied as they were preparing to host a private event.

Fair enough I suppose but it did feel a bit mean and didn’t give me the warm and fuzzies. All in all not sure what I’d return for.

I’ve heard Peggy Jean at Riverside Green is the jewel in the crown in Richmond so maybe give this one a try before heading to St John’s Wood for a taste of Daisy Green Collective.
