A Hidden Gem for Food Lovers – Especially Vegans!

I recently celebrated my birthday at The Joiners Arms in Bruntingthorpe, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had — especially as a vegan!

We requested vegan options in advance (which is recommended), and what we received was hands down the best three-course vegan meal I've had to date. Every dish was thoughtful, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious — not just “good for vegan food” but simply fantastic food, full stop.

The atmosphere at The Joiners is cosy and welcoming, with a relaxed, informal charm that makes you feel right at home. Nestled in the peaceful village of Bruntingthorpe, it's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle — yet still conveniently located between Leicester and Lutterworth.

A huge shout-out to the exceptional owner, who made our evening feel personal and special from start to finish. The service was friendly and genuine, with real attention to detail. The wine list is really good with some exceptional choices.

If you're planning a visit, I highly recommend going on a Tuesday or Thursday, when you can enjoy a set menu for just £25 for three courses — incredible value for the quality you receive.

Whether you're a foodie, a vegan, or just looking for a charming countryside spot with top-tier food and hospitality, The Joiners Arms is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back!
