The Chocolate Lovers Shop In Market Harborough

A gem of a shop stocking Booja Booja Ice Cream

When you visit my feed regularly it’s easy to see I am a big advocate of supporting small and local.

Our town of Market Harborough is heralded nationally for its mix of small independent shops and traditional market town feel and although big brand names have definitely infiltrated, Lakeland, a shop I actually love, Jo Malone again I’ve snagged a few testers and bought a couple of lavish gifts for friends and The white company whose sheets I sleep on and pick up a candle in the sale, it’s the little ones I love to shop in and enjoy a friendly nod to the proprietors I have got to know, not necessarily by name but by their smiles when I walk in.

Someone compared the reception you get at say Two Old Goats a neighbourhood bolt hole to a more corporate approach from the staff at large chain like Pret A Manger, polite but NPC and it’s why the small independently owned businesses are so appealing.

There’s been much commentary on the news and in the media about the decimated high st and it’s true small and independent can’t survive unless we all go in and spend money.

So it’s great so see Chocolate Lovers offering things you cannot get anywhere else, alongside their chocolates, gifts and hot drink offering like Booja Booja Ice Cream.

A reason to go there. The ice cream is absolutely delicious, plant based and gluten free but that’s not why I like it, just tastes really good.

Next time you are passing pop in, the coffee served always smells divine and I am told the hot chocolate is better than the larger Le Chocolat chain across the road.
