We ordered one main course each, one aubergine and potato dish and one ravioli dish. The setting is absolutely beautiful perched up high over looking the ocean and we were lucky it was a beautiful day. We maybe should have guessed there may be something up as we were the only diners when we arrived and only two other tables came during the lunch service both visitors. We were very surprised at the poor quality, reheated food that arrived. We had arrived that day and were starving, the only reason we ate everything and didn’t return it to the kitchen. The sauce on the ravioli was split so one side was thick and gloopy whilst the other was super thin and watery and the ravioli was cracked and soggy in the middle and dry and hard at the edges. My guest said hers tasted like it had been made a few days ago and reheated in the microwave. To top everything off the side of vegetable we ordered turned up as we were finishing the meal.Completely understand restaurants can have a bad service but if you are looking for a standard synonymous with the name Raymond Blanc they have a way to go.
