You clearly can teach an old dog new tricks. This is a little gem of a product especially for older skin. CC cream complete correction spf 50 from Chanel has been added to my must have beauty products.
Who does not want a beauty product foundation that does three jobs in one, a tinted foundation moisturiser with spf 50 that has great coverage for older skin and yet doesn’t clog pores around the nose and chin.
As I have aged this clogging of product in the enlarged pores on my nose especially has become a real problem. And I’ve tried a lot of tinted moisturisers, beauty products and foundations to sort it out.
The CC cream from Chanel at £55 comes in 7 shades, I have the beige No 20, only one lighter B10 and it’s a warm tone perfect in the summer when I have a bit of a tan.
I have quite pale with rose colour in my skin and I’d suggest this tinted moisturising cream is a solution for anyone over 50, I am in my 70’s and although I have taken care of my skin I have a few broken capillaries I like to disguise and wrinkles of course.
This product is very easy to apply and offers really good coverage for older skin except I don’t feel the need to add blush and eye make up if I want a make up free look. It just covers up all the imperfections in one very easy slap in on which I love; no streaks and best of all doesn’t all collect in the pores on my nose and chin.
This is definitely one to hunt down. It’s £55 for 30ml I know, a bit pricey more in fact than I pay for my foundation but the high spf adds value for me and a little does go a long way.
It’s clearly popular as I had to try a few outlets before finding it but also sold out on the Chanel website. Seems to be sold out in all shades in quite a few online outlets so good luck finding one.
Trust me on older skin you’ll love it.
