Fastich Xpress in Leicester is my go to tailor for anything I can’t do myself

I absolutely love this business. I can see and know how to thread and use a sewing machine but you know when you have to take a lining out, or remove a sleeve from a jacket, shorten it and get it back in I much prefer to use experts like the guys at Fastich.

They are my go to place for anything tricky. I am always greeted with a smile and a bit of friendly banter even if I haven’t been for ages, always remembered and the service is always the same, fast and incredible and the bill always less than I’d expect for the job. It’s not unusual to have to fight to pay, something so rare in this day and age. They’ll say “Oh don’t worry about that” and I’ll have to remind them they are a business and not working for free. It’s just the kind of people they are. An absolute pleasure to deal with.

These guys, two brothers with decades of experience who’ll tell you tailoring is in their blood can have a jacket or pair of trousers deconstructed and put back together in a matter of hours and don’t think it’s got to be made of fabric, they have the needles and the skills to deal with leather and suede too.

Max and his brother will always welcome you with a smile. They’ll give you their honest straightforward opinion of what can be achieved, in my experience usually a miracle in super quick time for a better than you’d ever expect price.

Cannot recommend this small Leicester based business more highly. The work speaks for itself.

I hope everyone supports. You cannot find this level of skill in every town and city. Leicester is lucky to have them.
