I took out this credit card a while ago to purchase some make up and perfume at Christmas and all was good until I began paying my bills. I paid for the first bill a week earlier than they expected via my banking app. Suddenly I started receiving emails a week later informing my payment was late and I was being charged a £10 late fee. I contacted customer services to inform them I had already cleared my bill and sent a screen shot of the payment on my banking app. After a long chat with a bot, I got a human and the human to be honest was not that helpful asking me for all my bank account details, even though I had shown proof of payment.

Eventually I got a reply from customer services via email saying my card had been suspended until payment was made. This sent me into a tail spin and I went back to them with a rocket! Finally a customer service person named Mohammed took ownership of the problem, cancelled the late fees and reinstated my card.

To my horror, I paid my second payment this month three days early and the same problem has arisen. I have had my card frozen, late charges added again and still have no reply from customer services who are once again, insisting my payment cannot be found.

But wait, what's this? For a second time I have encountered the dreaded customer service maze. It's like trying to get a straight answer out of a politician during election season. You're on hold longer than you were in line for those limited edition sneakers that sold out in seconds. The representatives seem to be playing a game of "hot potato" with your call, passing you around like a parcel nobody wants to claim. It's as if the card is the golden ticket to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, but the Oompa-Loompas have gone on strike and nobody knows how to operate the WonkaVision.

I have tried emailing, I have tried to call and chat, I have even tried the ancient art of smoke signals, but the responses are as clear as mud. I am met with robotic voices and canned responses that could have been written by a particularly unimaginative AI. It's like trying to solve a Rubik's cube while blindfolded and juggling flaming torches. The frustration builds up like the layers of a particularly unfortunate fashion faux pas.

I am closing down my account because even when I pay my bill early like the perfect customer they long for, they put a freeze on my card, charge me late fees, ignore my emails and leave me feeling like the villain in a James Bond, go figure!
