Indi Pet Supplies and Cheese and Pickle
I went to Pennbury Farm and shopped a little.
I love to browse and support small independent businesses especially when they are as lovely as these.
When you go for a bite to eat it’s easy to pass by the shops on site so this time I made a concerted effort to go inside and have a browse.
The proprietors of both stores could not have been friendlier. We met Mildred the cutest dog in Indi Pet Supplies the best advertisement for the delicious apparently, hand made puppy chews.
Both shops Cheese and Pickle which sells a plethora of food and gift items, a hand picked wine selection and individually bagged gourmet sweets. Toys and books, cards and crafts. Lots of cute relatively inexpensive items all beautifully merchandised. Loads to look at. It was like a Willie Wonka experience.
The Indi Pet Supplies Shop was the same. Colourful leads, collars, bowls, beds, blankets, pets paraphernalia all hand picked, hand curated, a store put together by people who clearly love animals.
Avoid the hustle and bustle in the week and you get to browse at your leisure, at the weekend the place is busy so you might find you have a wait a little while to be served. However the treats went down a storm so I am sure I’ll be back for more.
I purchased 2 packs of long handmade chews, like soft sausages, more snack than chew for £4.99 each, you get 5 in a packet so compared to supermarket options they were very reasonably priced for gourmet dog treats and they didn’t last very long.
Pennbury Farm is open 7 days a week for food but this super cute independent shop, Cheese annd Pickle is closed on Mondays.
Indi Pet Supplies is open from 10.00am to 4.00pm Tuesday through Sunday
