I used to be a sun worshipper. Now in my 7th decade I don’t like it so much. Although I do feel better with a sun tan who doesn’t.

As my skin has aged I am conscious of keeping the thinning areas particularly the neck, décolleté area and face moisturised and protected with a high SPF factor.

I’ve used Lancaster sunscreen before and decided to give this cream a try. I purchased in duty free on a buy two get the third one free so three items ended up costing me about £65 which I thought was a pretty good deal. If you order on line the retail price for this item, £40, but I’ve seen it as cheap as £30 if you shop around. I was happy with the deal I got at the airport for 50ml purchased along side a couple of other Lancaster products of which this turned out the best.

Why, because it felt really moisturising on my skin. I don’t wear a lot of makeup on vacation just a very light foundation and this worked perfectly underneath. It’s a little bit luminous gives you a bit of a glow which I liked and definitely would improve the appearance of skin tone and texture used just on its own.

After two weeks on vacation I didn’t notice any more freckles or age spots appearing so it did the job and the decollate area which I watch, and don’t expose to the high sun between 11am and 3pm also seemed hydrated and improved using this product.

I really liked it and of the three Lancaster products I tried it’s the only one I’ll be repurchasing. The others one a dry oil, I thought I’d like, I actually didn’t like the texture so much, not moistening and left me feeling a little bit sticky and the other a factor 6 tanning accelerator I would have loved 40 years ago was great but I ended up giving it to my granddaughter. She absolutely loved it. It was in an orange pot, I didn’t take a picture but it is said to stimulate the melanin in your skin and make you tan faster. It was a bit messy, like a dark brown jelly.
