MERCEDES-BENZ S CLASS L AMG LINE take a test drive

For my girl the car shes been dreaming of

I’ve driven a Toyota pick up for a long time and every time we, Suzy and I go out anywhere fancy she complains she always has to drive because she hates going in the truck. It’s clean and tidy, she just doesn’t like it.

She’s had a big birthday and so I came up with her dream wheels and I drove her to pick it up pretending I was taking her to get her hair done, before we went out to celebrate.

She now has a few rules of her own regarding the aptly titled “Black Broomstick” the 1st being no smoking in the car, even with the window down.

The colour is obsidian black metallic 2.9L engine and it cost me just shy of twenty grand. The most expensive thing I have ever bought her.

And it’s 10 years old 2015 2.9L diesel engine S350d V6 AMG Line G-Tronic + Euro 6 (s/s) 4 door complete luxury and heavenly to drive after a 20 year old truck.

It’s got cruise control, air suspension, tronic gearbox the works. Leather interior, heated front and rear seats, tinted glass the works and if I’d bought it new it would have cost anywhere between 90 and 110 grand which honestly makes me shudder when I think about anyone spending that amount of money on a car.

It’s a dream to drive, you actually do feel like you are floating on air.

I’ve always fancied a BMW 6 series, very sporty but really looking forward to taking it over the France this summer to see my sister. Now we have the wheels we are taking a long road trip.

The great part for me about the new wheels is now I literally cannot get Suzy out of the driving seat, she loves to drive everywhere we go.

The best part about the whole thing was the look on her face. She couldn’t believe it. That I would do it. The first thing she said was “what have you done?” And she wasn’t talking about the car.

She won’t let me sit in the back though. Not yet anyway. With those heated seats makes me want to take a nap.
