I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this product for so many reasons and cannot understand why Molton Brown discontinued it. Why I've put the link on here for Ebay because that's the only place you are likely to find a bottle. I have a few on standby from Ebay sellers at the moment.
I first bought a bottle years ago now on a flight duty free, used it on the trip and was completely hooked. It's quite runny and light, shakes out of the bottle in liquid baubles of bronze golden brown very subtle in colour oil that glides on, absolutely no streaks turning pasty white skin into sun kissed glow as fast as you can say Jack Robinson. It is a miracle I haven't been able to repeat and I have tried one or two other self tan oils.
The thing I like about this one is it's not "self tan" it doesn't come off on your sheets or clothes. It is more like a stain that gently fades away. Such easy maintenance and you don't need to be tanned to get the benefits although its always in my bag of tricks whenever I go anywhere sunny.
The smell is like all the other signature gingerlily products of which there are a few in the Molton brown range. It's a good one as it's fresh and clean, comforting but unobtrusive, doesn't get up your nose and doesn't clash with my perfume which is usually something light and fresh and green like Hermes un jardin sur le toit or un jardin sur le nil.
This oil is not to be confused with Molton Brown Heavenly Gingerlily Caressing Body Oil at £40, lovely product, equally difficult to source but without the sunkissed effect. Or Molton Brown Heavenly Gingerlily carressing bathing oil which is a less expensive bath oil product.
I also love Molton brown because they are made in uk and cruelty free. Their finished products or ingredients are not tested on animals anywhere in the world including mainland china (source cruelty free kitty dot com)
