I love fresh healthy food, but I am not a food snob. I don’t have to shop in a particular store. I don’t believe I am defined by where I grocery shop.
I love fruit, my favourite food and any variation, a fruit salad and especially a fruit smoothie.
I am a loyal innocent customer, they are a B corporation and I like this about them. They make a kids smoothie lunch box pack, 4 in a box which I often by for around £3.50 £4.00.
They are available in my local coop.
Fast forward to Morrisons taking over the coop. I didn’t even notice I just went to the fridges where U usually find my smoothies and picked up a box.
I also didn’t notice the price £1.80 for the box of 4 smoothies. For me I get through two boxes a week so it’s a significant saving.
We drank the smoothies and really enjoyed them. No significant difference in taste, quality, texture or serving size.
Smoothie lovers out there the Morrisons offering is as good for half the price.
The only downside for me shopping with Morrisons as an ethical consumer they are partnered with Amazon where you can find the smoothies even cheaper. (Someone has to pay)
FYI they are vegan plant based.
