Ladies of London The New Reign Vs Housewives Of London
On the latest episode of Housewives of London the bravo spinoff of the original Ladies of London we discovered Juliet Angus and friends, Caroline Stanbury and Caroline Fleming were attempting to reboot. We saw Juliet Angus down in the dumps, whilst enjoying time on a luxury yacht, Sweet Caroline, courtesy of Karen’s husband, about her new role on Bravos transatlantic escapades in the massive Housewives franchise, Housewives of London. After Ladies of London, The New Reign 10 episode premiered in the summer with an all new cast of London’s elite ladies and socialites and was promptly shelved in favour of the new housewives, I am not entirely sure why she is so upset not to be reunited with her old pals, the show wasn’t commissioned anyway unless it’s about to be and Juliet made the wrong move.
In the latest episode, aired 13th October, 2026 an explosive row erupted between Nessie and Angus after one too many Dom Perignon’s at £200 a bottle (a compromise and poor relation, they prefer the Pink at £500 a bottle) which resulted in Juliet Angus saying “See You Next Tuesday” to Nessie’s horror, “Disgusting, Disgraceful” Amanda didn’t believe Nessie when she alleged she’d never been called that before, reminding the audience hilariously Nessie grew up in Acton.
I watched the original Ladies of London series and loved it, and then the whole thing fell apart amidst Caroline Stanbury’s business collapse, marriage breakdown and relocation to Dubai to begin a new life as a social media influencer and leading lady in Real Housewives of Dubai.
She did return in the first season of Real Housewives of London which aired in the summer of 2025 making a guest appearance, though not part of the cast. During Episode 2 of the series, she meets up with her longtime friend Juliet Angus for a high-end shopping trip at the Jimmy Choo boutique in London. The scene features Stanbury effortlessly loaded down with multiple large shopping bags, humorously contrasting with Juliet's much smaller purchase.
I questioned at the time if Stanbury had actually shopped or if the content was part of her long time collaboration with the brand.
The Real Housewives of London has become a guilty pleasure with the new cast headed up by super bitch Amanda Cronin and Iranian beauty Panthea Parker, both with a lot to say and neither rarely lost for words. Amanda known for a caustic wit and throwaway lines, Panthea for always having the last say makes for an explosive watch.
Having watched Ladies of London, The New Reign you see how important the casting is to get a hit and the current line up of Real Housewives of London is giving just the right amount of fashion, glamour, luxury lifestyle and of course gossip, back stabbing and cat fighting the franchise is known for.
Watch out Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, the British girls are coming for your title as the most explosive cast in the franchise.
I am not sure why Juliet Angus is pining for her old crew, she may have felt more at home with her pal Caroline Stanbury but I have a feeling this new cast will endure much longer.
It’s been a problem in the US when marriages have broken down and the real money has left the show. The UK housewives cast have husbands who stand on massive wallets, Juliet Mayhew’s husband Tiggy can buy her a West End show and Karen’s other half can charter a 50 metre three deck luxury yacht to take the ladies out for three days filming in Antiqua guzzling £200 bottles of champagne so while ever the lifestyles are
