I have a professional job so have to wear pretty smart clothes to work and in the past I had bought a few things from Reiss that I really liked. I also go to York races a few times a year and like to dress up for that so Reiss was often an easy go to for a nice dress or occasion wear. That was until a while ago I tried to return something and discovered they had a no refunds policy which was actually such a shock as I believed I was a great customer it stopped me shopping there until yesterday when I lured back in by a really great window display and a sweater I liked the look of.
I was pleased to see the jumper was really nice and although quite expensive at £125 I was happy to find it was 60% wool, it's hard to find natural fibres these days as many high st brands are only making acrylic which I find doesn't really last or keep its shape or keep you warm. I tried it on knowing I had to be sure as a mistake could be costly and agreed to purchase anyway explaining to the helpful pleasant person who served me I was aware of the no refunds policy.
Much to my surprise he explained this policy had changed and I now had 2 weeks to return for a refund if I changed my mind.
It is so refreshing that this brand has clearly listened to its customers. I had given the store a wide birth for sometime because of being unable to get my money back but am happy to say I can now return and shop with confidence that should I get home and decide the items aren't for me after all I can take them back without a problem.
