The staff are the best thing about this spot which is not on the beach although there is a shuttle and you can get a ride where you need to go when not busy, we did have to wait a few times when the hotel was full and everyone wanted to go to the beach. The downside of having to travel to the beach was no service, drinks, loungers, towels etc so if you want to be looked after you have to stay poolside. The rooms are OK. The plunge pool on the balcony was a little grubby so I didn't use it but other than that the accommodation was comfortable, good quality linens and cable TV with a good selection of free movies. The one thing that lets this place down is the food, the breakfast was only satisfactory, not much choice and the coffee and juices were only mediocre. The rest of the food was pretty diabolical and although we didn't eat at the "gourmet" restaurant on top of the hill, other guests told us it was disappointing. All in all if you are an adventurer looking for a comfortable base this will fit the bill, anyone else looking for a bit of luxury in paradise I'd give this one a miss.
