Great service and solid deals — but a smaller selection than expected
I stopped by shoe palace in Geary Street Union Square while visiting San Francisco and managed to snag the latest Nike trainers — all while staying on budget, which was a pleasant surprise! The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, taking the time to find the right size and style for me but to be honest that said, the store’s selection felt a bit limited. You can tell many retail shops in San Francisco are finding it tough right now, and Shoe Paradise seems to be doing its best to keep up. I wanted to buy some new leggings during my trip and imagined this store would stock many but again the selection of clothing was poor. I asked the assistant serving me, what had happened to all the great shopping in down town San Fransico and she explained that since COVID many shops had closed down. Still, the service more than made up for it. Shoe Palace truly lives up to its belief in offering the Ultimate Experience — even in a tough retail climate. Definitely worth a visit if you’re downtown and looking for great customer care and quality brands.
Overall, a good experience: great service, fair prices, and a reminder to support local shops whenever we can.
