I’ve only had a couple of subway sandwiches ever, when desperate to find a quick sandwich and there were literally no other options so safe to say it would be my first choice for lunch.
That is until they introduced Spudway at Subway.
Who doesn’t love a jacket potato especially at this time of year when the weather changes, the clocks go back and you feel hungrier than usual when lunchtime rolls around.
I normally spend £10-£15 on a lunch to go option, homemade soup and a sandwich from my local deli.
Subway are offering large jacket potatoes with the whole range of toppings from the usual beans and cheese, chicken tikka, tuna mayo, chilli and a whole range of salads and other sides.
So you can literally build your own custom potato for only £6.
I have completely changed my mind about Subway and have defected from my much more expensive independent deli for this warming, hearty, healthy lunch option to go.
If you like a filled baked potato in the winter and haven’t tried Subway yet, I’d definitely recommend popping in.
One good thing about Subway they are everywhere on pretty much every high st so easy to locate one near you.
What a great menu switch up to attract new customers who prefer better bread and less processed meats on their sandwiches.
