Shout Out To Leicester Store Especially Caitlin

I knew nothing about camping and cooking outdoors until this trip. I was a little bit nervous how we’d cope with an outdoor camping glamping vacation.

The cafe on the camp site served breakfast and coffees but we wanted to get into it so with the help of a very positive and helpful assistant in Halfords in Leicester I invested in a camping stove in a backpack.

Yes everything you need for your outdoor cooking experience, including utensils, two metal cooking serving plates and two pans. Plus a metal claw handle thingy to transfer the hot pan from the burner and a few Tupperware containers for left overs.

Setting up and using the stove was so easy so I’d recommend this inexpensive set up to anyone. Caitlyn who was very organised and knowledgeable about this particular stock item got us organised with eight gas canisters for our trip at the reduced price of £20 which meant we were good for the whole week and didn’t need to worry about running out.

The whole experience was extremely smooth and I was really impressed not only with the outdoor cooking all in one kit but the friendly helpful and efficient approach to sorting us out and getting the us in and out of the shop with exactly what we needed very quickly.

I have never really shopped at Halfords before but would definitely return.

There’s nothing worse when you don’t know what you are doing spending ages walking around a shop with no clue and no help.

CAitlyn was absolutely brilliant and the festival backpack camping stove did the job perfectly.
