The Midland Grand Dining Room

What an amazing lunch. This restaurant is situated within the hotel in St Pancras station. The dining room is huge and very grand, so not a casual experience. The service is amazing with more than one waiter looking after you. There is a set menu or a full menu with French style food served beautifully presented in a traditional way. The wine list is excellent and my lunch was one of the best I have had in a while. I am a vegan and there was no problem providing me with alternative ways to tantalize my palette. It is not cheap but worth every penny if you are looking for a stylish, old fashioned dining experience.

Extremely good food in an equally excellent room at a very impressive hotel in King's Cross. The grand room has remained mostly intact since it was constructed over 150 years ago, with the exception of a few modern Art Deco-style lamps here and some plush furnishings there, all thanks to the building's Grade I-listed status. The space boasts huge, creamy ceilings that tower above. As a result, the vibe is still similar to somewhere like the Ritz Paris, but there are also hints of vintage New York.

Renowned chef Charlie Crote's seasonal menu is served at The Midland Grand Dining Room, one of London's most exquisite brasseries. It's perfect for long lunches, filling dinners with friends, and important moments that should be remembered.

Originally designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott in 1873, hotelier and restaurateur Harry Handelsman, as well as famous architect and designer Hugo Toro, have changed the area. The restaurant and Gothic Bar, which are located next to the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, provide great all-day dining and drinking options in the centre of King's Cross.

I highly recommend you have a visit.

I love good food, books and films that tell a true story behind them. I love affordable luxury and making brands accountable and more transparent. I love all kinds of music, including Rock, Opera, R&B and classical. When I travel 5 star, it has to be 5 star, including good food, comfort, good sheets and no kids in the pool. I love well made clothes and hate fast disposable fashion. I am well travelled and my favourite places include Marbella, Portofino, St Tropez, LA and Paris.
