22 March 2013 linda fox 1691 Movie and TV Shows, Movie A Song For Marion A SONG FOR MARIONI was told to expect a very weepy film and to take plenty of tissues. I found there were a few sad moments when Marion died but it was an expected natural death, and people do die, so although sad but a part of life. What I did find interesting was Arthur (Terence Stamp) the grumpy husband who going through the grieving process eventually finds joy himself through music which he was not open too when his wife Marion was part of the choir. Just often it takes a serious loss to help people find their own growth, so I was quit uplifted by the film.A good film, not great but a good insight into loss & personal growth.
