Westman Atelier matt suede Lipstick

This is a very expensive lipstick but I loved the company credentials so decided to purchase. I decided to go for a nude brownish colour Rue. The packaging and lipstick container is amazing, very substantial and stylish, heavy and expensive. I had never heard of this brand before so was truly excited for the lipstick to arrive. The colour is really great but the lipstick did not live up to the marketing for me because it does not stay on the lips very long for a matte finish but it feels like velvet though matte, very hydrating. I want to love this product because it has everything going for it. It feels good going on and I like the shade but it is not long lasting on the lips, especially after drinking and eating. There is nothing it can do to ever justify the price except their amazing credentials. You can get the same exact result with lipsticks half the price but maybe not as ethical. If you wear nothing but the same exact lipstick everyday it might be considered worth it for you to buy. I purchased from Selfridges online and the delivery was simple and fast, well packaged as described. Price £45.
