Amazon Poop Bags

I know I feel bad

It can take plastic dog waste bags upwards of 1000 years to decompose in a landfill site.

Don’t worry I haven’t changed my mind. I took care of my friends dog while she went on holiday and while she was away I learned about Poop bags.

These ones on Amazon are the cheapest, a gazillion for I don’t know £3.99 and it makes me shudder to think how many people are using these if they can indeed be bothered to pick up the poop.

In the country we do it for the farmers. You might not be aware but bacteria in your puppy’s poo can cause a pregnant cow to miscarry. It’s not always possible to pick up, anyone can forget the bag from time to time, why I keep a roll in my car.

Shopping for poop bags, be aware that bio degradable bags can take up to 2 years to break down. Look for plant based compostable poop bags. These break down in landfill or water in 3-12 months.

The best ones I have found, I haven’t purchased yet are lavender scented, (should help with the gag reflex) called simply “Poop Bag”

They are made in US from resin sourced from Italy, 50 plant based compostable bags cost £9.99 and yes you can source them on Amazon.

Anyone know an independent selling the same thing affordably please drop a comment. Still tricky getting brilliant American products into the UK.
