Rehan is an independent entrepreneur coffee shop owner with a big story and so much passion about his business I feel a little bit honoured to have shared a few minutes with him.
This guy is knowledgeable about his coffee. His story, he tasted coffee in Milan so delicious he wanted to bring it to London, high altitude Costa Rican beans celebrated for their bright crisp fruity flavour with high caffeine content, the best quality. He proudly showed me his beans, “Notice how they are not split” he said encouraging me to smell them.
I felt bad when I ordered a peppermint tea which he then shared how he really invests and serves the best quality for his customers. I was told to take a seat and my tea was served to me. It really was someone going the extra mile.
For me Froth Coffee is exactly the kind of small independent business I want to rave about. Rehan asked I snap a picture of his google QR code proudly saying his reviews on Google were worthy of note. Whilst everyone may be drawn to a Starbucks or a Costa, they recognise the brand, without Google, the only place to promote and market yourself online, Rehan explained, businesses like Froth Coffee people just don’t know exists. All the more reason to snoop I thought.
The decor inside was really tasteful and modern, deco vibes in brights yellow and neutral tones. Comfy cushions strewn on sofas art work on the walls carefully chosen to create an ambiance of cool with good Latino music playing quietly in the background maybe to accent where the coffee you might be trying originated.
I loved the experience with my vegan plant based biscoff biscuit served on the side. Had I had time I’d have tried one of the pastries, hot cross buns and cakes on offer. Whilst I was there a couple of customers came in for the hot cross buns and Rehan told me about a French customer he has, who told him she couldn’t tell the difference between his croissants and the ones she’d buy in her local bakery at home.
He also told me he believed in Karma, and asked me if I understood the concept. When you are good, goodness comes back to you. I said I did.
If you are on or near the Finchley Road, just a little up from the O2 centre where the big Sainsbury’s is and fancy a cuppa pop into Froths and have the experience.
Great to meet you Rehan and thanks for sharing your story so I could in turn share it with the world here on Poopsnoop.
I was asked to review the business on Google, ah ha I said, like you and your coffee, I can do better than that.
Froth Coffee is open 7 days from 6.30am to 4pm. On Sunday opens at 8.00am.
This business also reduces food waste and helps people on lower incomes by partnering with Too Good To Go where you can buy surplus food at a reduced cost.

It’s very tough these days being an independent food retailer.
