I cannot think of another sneaker trainer that could endure for the last 60 years and go on to endure another 60.
So many people have loved and lived in their Gazelles from icons like Liam and Noel Gallagher to sustainability Queen Hollywood’s Emma Watson and poster girl and model Gigi Hadid swapping their Sambas for gazelles.
Me well not so sleek or so sexy but you’ll find me summer or winter, flying, travelling in my gazelles to nipping out for Saturday morning coffee on the high st or poking around the local market.
I’ve got a couple of pairs on the go, these the older and more well worn, about 10 years now.
They come in loads of colourways from blue, red, yellow, green, and suede and leather options. Cost around 85 quid.
The thing for me as I have gotten older the shoes have stayed the same age, when so many things we buy and buy into become old and tired, old fashioned even I cannot think of
anything else branded or otherwise I have worn consistently for more than two decades.
One thing I will say I did my back in skiing a week ago and because my Gazelles are so well worn and flat to the floor, pretty much no arch support I did struggle with a dodgy back for a few days.
Otherwise a pretty loyal gazelle guy. Thanks Adidas.
