I was recently in search of this sustainable cruelty free hair serum from Oway a specialist brand available in salons but not that easy to find on a budget or at a discount, Oway Glossy Nectar, it comes in two sizes 50ml at £24.00 rrp and 160ml at £53.00 rrp.
It’s not tricky to find, you buy direct from Oway dot com if you are happy to pay the full retail and wait for it to come, about a week.
I like a deal, things like this I’d normally be able to find on EBay or Amazon and save a few quid. Not this time.
However I did find a site called Glamot dot com with stock available for an unbelievable low price about £13 for the small bottle £31 for the big one so a significant saving. 160ml on the Oway website is £53.
And they use FedEx to ship, probably the most trusted and most expensive global shipper so £7 for 24 hour delivery is well worth it when the savings are so significant.
I read the reviews on Trust Pilot, 160 people in total have taken the time with the majority giving 5 stars and the average is a 4.2 rating. There are an couple of negatives but aside from one lady saying her hairdryer wasn’t 100% and the team at Glamdot didn’t get back to her about it everyone else seemed very positive about the service and fast turnaround on shipping and delivery.
It’s a family company that began in 2003, a husband and wife team Daniel and Gabca Novak so all sounds amazing, Daniel’s Mum was a hairdresser and beautician her whole life and instilled in him a desire to give customers the very best possible service. I like the story and I am going for it, placing my order from the Czech Republic.
I’ll update here when my product arrives.
I love to see people bucking trends, doing things differently and stretching the boundaries of great service at an affordable price, winning customers from all over the globe happy to try doing things differently too, taking a risk and buying from a company that may not have the marketing budget of say an Amazon or EBay but have loads of happy customers shouting their corner instead.
