I made a big bad hair mistake about a year ago. In a mad moment I decided to have all my hair chopped off at a salon in Leicester. I won’t say who did it. Not fair. It was my choice and nothing wrong with the hair cut it was just too drastic and I absolutely hated it.
I went to Jazz after reading a few fabulous reviews about the kind of person she is and how she had helped people sort out hair disasters, bad colour and cuts without making anyone feel stupid.
Over the last 8 months I have been going to Jazz for cuts and colour, and on each visit she has slowly, without taking hardly any hair off (obviously I am trying to grow it out) reshaped it from a pixie cut with a terrible fringe into more an all one length textured bob which suits me much better.
I can wash and go. Doesn’t need a load of maintenance. I can wear it every day without having to wash it every day. Before the short cut needed so much maintenance I literally had to wash and style my hair every day.
It’s not long enough yet to tie it back but Jazz is working with me to get me there.
She’s a kind, patient, talented stylist, exactly what you need when you’ve made a mess of your hair yourself so I’d recommend anyone needing a hair disaster sorting out go and have a free consultation with Jazz.
She’ll give you a completely no nonsense honest opinion of what she can do and how long it is going to take. Lots of hair dressers hate it when you take a picture as expectations are unrealistic but I took pictures of what I wanted to achieve and it wasn’t a problem for Jazz.
For anyone who hates the hairdresser or is nervous of another disaster Jazz will gently guide you back to great hair.
I would recommend Jazz to anyone and actually have, she’s done my sisters hair a couple of times and one of my other sisters has booked Jazz and her team to do all her up does for her wedding, something the salon pride themselves on delivering for your big day.
The salon is based in St Nicholas Square at the top of the high st in Leicester City Centre with very easy parking close by in either the Grosvenor Casino or Highcross Shopping Centre. If you are on bus walking distance from St Margaret’s Bus Station. It would take about 5-10 minutes.
