First of all it doesn’t get you high. I honestly didn’t notice any calming or chilled out feelings especially.
I was introduced to the new offering you may have seen advertised on telly in pretty pale pastel cans with the peace sign ✌🏻
I have to say the design and marketing does appeal.
I like a fresh light fizzy refreshing drink, even better if it is low calorie and offers therapy or calming health benefits.
First of all you cannot enjoy Trip drinks with food and I have tried them all. The pink one pictured is my favourite but like Kombucha I think it is an acquired taste.
It is minty which some might confuse with toothpaste or mouthwash and I realise I am not selling it here. Think the spritz of Perrier water with some botanical flavours and a hint of bubblegum and you might be about there.
They are expensive at about £3 in Waitrose so perhaps best kept a treat here and there as opposed to replacing you regular non alcoholic tipple.
They are nice but I cannot see them challenging world domination from Coca Cola anytime soon.
